Jordie was absolutely amazing! She was so kind and patient (I brought my 8 month old.) She listened to me and accomplished exactly what I wanted. The rest of the staff was also super friendly and so sweet with my baby as well. The salon was very clean and I appreciated that the shampooing area was so peaceful and away from the noise of the blowdryers. I will be coming back for sure.

Kylie did a PHENOMENAL job on my hair! I have long, straight hair that gets very dry and crispy in the winter. She gave me a K-treatment after a fantastic scalp massage with shampoo, and an arm/hand massage. She blew my hair out carefully. It looks and feels like silk! She is really friendly and personable. I love Free Spirit!

i was really happy with my hair after leaving here, and i’m really bummed that the dye barely lasted. i wash my hair 2-3 times a week, and purchased the shampoo they recommended to me, so i was really surprised that the dye was completely gone before it had even been two months. my hair stylist really nailed the color i requested, and gave me semi-permanent dye (because she said permanent would “make my roots look bad later”?), and i really wish she would’ve told me the dye wasn’t going to last. especially because i told her i chose that specific day to get my hair dyed because i had a special occasion coming up the next month. but maybe she thought i just didn’t want my new color after that…? i don’t know. it’s a huge bummer, because again, she really nailed the color. pros: - the hairstylists there all seemed very nice and friendly - the facility was very clean and well lit - the hair wash station is very cozy and the products used made my hair so silky - it was very easy to book online - friendly receptionist and large waiting area - mostly transparent prices (though i just doubled checked their site and it seems they’ve recently changed it and now it’s… less transparent?) cons: - i wish i had been told the dye barely lasts - i wish i had been told how to prolong the life of the dye - they kind of awkwardly shove products at you at the end of the visit and try to get you to buy extra stuff. it would be nice if a reason for recommending the product was given or if it were more catered to the specific clients hair needs - they make you book a future appointment when you leave your current one. this is awkward because i don’t like to book things months in advance, and there is a fee for missed appointments - it’s quite expensive. i wish hair cuts had varying price based on the hair type and style. it was $50+ to trim my thin hair two inches, but would’ve been the same cost if i had super thick hair and wanted layers? the prices increase based on stylist experience (fair) but not by style or amount of effort? all in all, i spent $200 to get a tiny trim and dye that lasted a few washes, so im not sure if id do the process again. however, the people are nice and the facility is lovely, so i think its worth giving it a shot if you think it might be a good fit for you

Today was the third time I’ve gone to Free Spirit. I’ve been searching for a stylist for several years and I found it in Robbie. She is not only a talented and thoughtful hairstylist but she is a kind person. Today I gave her free rein and I love my cut! In addition to loving Robbie, the salon has a great feel. People are nice to each other and work together to be better. It’s so nice to witness.

Kim is absolutely amazing! She is incredibly patient, super knowledgeable, and does a fantastic job every single time. You can tell that she cares about her clients and wants them to look and feel their best. She takes the time to listen and always makes great recommendations. The salon itself is beautiful and spotless, and everyone there is so friendly and welcoming. It’s such a fun, relaxing environment. Highly recommend Kim and Free Spirit Salon if you’re looking for great hair and a great experience!
